If everything goes according to plan, the console will appear to do nothing and you can exit the console by typing ~ and then exit the game. Type SPF followed by a space and then the name of your character exactly as it appears in-game, then press Enter.įor my follower Tannuck, I would type: SPF Tannuck. ![]() I have not specifically measured drive speeds in this scenario I'm just saying that it performs quite well.Īs far as I know, all Macs with USB have been capable of booting from an external drive connected via USB-all the way back to the first iMac circa 1998, which only made use of USB 1.0. When booting from an external spinning hard drive over USB 3.0 on my new MacBook Pro, the external hard drive sends data back and forth to the Mac about as fast as it would if it were installed internally. I know of no reason why it would not work on a MacBook Air. ![]() Yes, I just got a new Mid-2012 MacBook Pro 13" and did this very thing over USB 3.0. ![]() ![]() ![]() Star Wars: Squadrons launches on October 2 and is up for preorder now. There’s more to come, but here’s what’s on our minds thus far. We went hands-on with a retail code of Star Wars: Squadrons to play several single-player campaign missions and a block of multiplayer to bring you our first impressions of the game. ![]() ![]() Suffice it to say that this is a much different kind of adventure that won’t appeal to everyone - some players want to become Jedi, after all, but others want to feel as though they’re actively involved in the space battles that make “Star Wars” the blockbuster franchise it is today. Star Wars: Squadrons is the latest entry in a long line of “Star Wars” titles, with the most recent Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order taking a third-person action approach. Fortunately, EA noticed how positively players responded to the Starfighter Assault mode in Star Wars Battlefront II and tasked Motive Studios with creating Star Wars: Squadrons. “Star Wars” flight sims were massively popular in the ‘90s and early 2000s, but it’s been over 15 years since we’ve seen a full-fledged title featuring starfighter combat. ![]() |
